History

Omega Technologies Group is a number of companies all under the Omega umbrella: encompassing other fields intertwined with construction

Our History

1996: Omega Environmental Technologies (UK) Ltd was set up in the UK as a subsidiary of the J. Gerber group, based in New York, USA as an electro- mechanical engineering company

1999: Omega (Europe) Ltd was subsequently founded and the original ‘UK’ Ltd company dissolved in favour of the former, as part of director reconstruction, with Emile al-Kirkhy as sole director

2001: Omega added the discipline of electrical engineering to the company: to become a ful-fledged Mechanical & Electrical design & build contractor

2003: The Construction division started work with refurbishment of listed building (Norway House, Trafalgar square) and the restaurant & night club below. The offices of Omega remained at Norway house, even after the refurbishment of the building, till 2008

2004 onwards: the combined resources of Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering & Construction participated in many prestige & meticulous projects: and the added influence and solid base of starting out as Consulting engineers in the demanding Services field added incalculable impetus to the construction work

2005: Omega Technologies is registered in the Brussels Chamber of Commerce; taking advantage of Belgian tax laws, import of construction materials direct from the EU & VAT facilitations

2006: Architectural technology was added to the workforce: thereby further bolstering the company as detailed backup design for Concept architects, and to expedite coordinating Services with the building fabric.

Furthermore, consulting engineering activities could be taken further than concept-only: with full, detailed & coordinated drawings being issued to the workforce on site. All projects then began possessing an attention to detail second to none.

2007: Omega is also established as an offshore company in the United Arab Emirates: as a response to many clients having offshore companies of their own, and from which to remunerate Omega construction / consultancy activities
